EdgeShield Gravel Stop System
Metal Panel System’s EdgeShield Gravel Stop System is a raised two piece perimeter edge metal system designed to contain gravel from a BUR (built-up) roof system or ballast from a single ply roof system. The pre-finished edge metal is secured to the building with a continuous 20 gauge cleat. Holes are pre-punched in the cleat to ensure proper fastener placement. The raised edge on the EdgeShield Gravel Stop System can be customized to have a height between ½ inch and 2 inches depending on its use. The system is easy to install and the roof membrane is terminated at the gravel stop.
The EdgeShield Gravel Stop System has been tested to meet ANSI/SPRI ES-1 requirements for wind uplift. For more information about ANSI/SPRI ES-1 click here.
